Welcome, I’m Jennifer!
If you’ve been holding everything together on the outside while quietly struggling on the inside, you’re not alone. You might not even be able to fully explain what’s wrong, just that something feels off, heavy, or harder than it should be.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to being the one others rely on. You don’t have to carry that here.
As a therapist, I bring both professional training and lived experience into the room. Having navigated profound loss and chronic pain, I understand how heavy life can feel, and how easy it is to carry it quietly on your own.
When we sit together, you won’t be met with silence or surface-level responses. I’m present, engaged, and right there with you. I’ll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and gently help you make sense of what you’re feeling, especially the parts that feel confusing, overwhelming, or hard to face.
Our work isn’t about rushing or fixing. It’s about understanding yourself in a deeper way, recognizing patterns that no longer serve you, and creating space for something different. Over time, many clients begin to feel more grounded, more clear, and more like themselves again.
My work is integrative and tailored to you. I draw from approaches such as EMDR, attachment-based therapy, cognitive and somatic techniques, depending on what you need in the moment. Where helpful, we may also explore how daily habits, such as rest, movement, and nourishment, are impacting your overall wellbeing.
You don’t have to have the right words or a clear starting point. We can begin wherever you are.
